The ground comes first
Crane path, slope, caliche and drainage get checked before we talk about shapes. Anything that changes the work goes into the written quote, not into a change order halfway through the dig.

We install and look after one kind of pool, because it is the one that suits this desert best.

Tucson is a hard place to own a pool. By July the pool water commonly runs warm enough to feel like a bath. Monsoon storms dump dust and debris into back yards across the valley, and the heat that follows can turn it into an algae bloom within days. The water out of the tap is heavy with calcium, and the dry air pulls water off the surface so fast that you keep topping up with more of it all summer. Under the yard there is often caliche or clay that swells when the rain finally comes.
Plaster struggles with all of that. It is porous, so algae and scale take hold. It etches in hard water, roughens with age, and commonly needs replacing every 10 to 15 years, sooner in heat like ours. A smooth gelcoat shell handles the same conditions far better: algae has little to grip, calcium usually wipes off instead of crusting, and there is no replaster cycle waiting down the road.
So we built the business around fiberglass and dropped everything else. No concrete pools, no vinyl liners, no kits sold over the counter. That focus means the details that decide whether a fiberglass pool sits level and stays clean for decades, the base, the backfill, the water chemistry, the soft brush cleaning, are what we do every day rather than something we fit in between other jobs.
It also means we will tell you when fiberglass is not right for you. Shells come from manufacturer molds, width is capped by highway shipping, the shell has to reach your yard by crane, and deep diving wells are generally not available. If those limits rule out what you want, you will hear it at the estimate.

Equipment sized for long summer run times, decks that stay walkable barefoot in July, slopes that send monsoon water away from the pool, and water balanced for gelcoat in hard water. Generic pool practice does not hold up here.
Some things only show up once the ground is open. When that is possible we name it in the quote as an allowance and explain it, rather than padding the price and hoping.
The people who set the shell are the people who start it up, service it and repair it. When something changes in five years, you call someone who already knows how it was built.
Our Arizona Registrar of Contractors licence details, insurance information and any manufacturer installer certifications will be shown here once they are confirmed. Until then, ask us for them at your estimate and we will walk you through what we hold.
